On a completely different gossip and chit chat note...can anyone here in Goa tell me where the Monsoon has got to?? I look at the dark clouds all bloody day long but they seem to pass over us. We have had a couple of storms during the night, but when daytime comes all is clear again.
I reckon they are waiting until we board our flight on Friday!! and then it will be a repeat of the 'Deccon Experience'

emsirrah, is your avatar your car? It looks like a triumph but then I am not good at recognizing cars.

It's a TR6 - a lovely car, separate chassis, body prone to rust, but i'd have one as long as it was the straight six 150bhp fuel injection model, manual transmission with overdrive please - in that nice Yellow, was it Mimosa? come to think of it, I'd even have an ex-dry state USA car that had been re-imported to avoid the dreaded tin worm.

Loved the TR6 had a lovely blue one.

That's exactly what it is - bought it 1979 when it was 10 years and still have it. Rebuilt in 1992 and have only done 700 miles since then as we moved to Spain in 1993 and left it in UK.
OH just tinkers with it when we are there.

I'm a Jag man myself, but have always liked the TR series of cars - a friend had a TR4a & as a 'youf' I had a dreaded TR7 - my dad gave me a bol***king for buying it - it needed that much welding!

What is your nearest costa area in Spain: Blanca, Calida, Del Sol, Brava etc etc?

Now on Costa del Sol but driving a Kangoo - not quite like the TR but it is a new Turbo Charged one and it "shifts" leaves sportier looking cars standing.

No connection with Mazarron then? Our frineds went for a weekend & recognised a couple they'd seen in South Goa the season before - small world!

Havn't been to South Goa for years except for the odd day now and again. We live in one of the main holiday resorts on C del Sol and have never seen anyone we know either from UK ( we had a large pub there from many years) or Goa.
Still on here (an hour later than UK) as I am watching nominations on Big Brother - sad I know
