My OH uses a bag in Goa for his wallet and specs, once he left it in a bar and it was still there the next day money and all. Most Goans are nice honest people. There has been two bags (that I know of) snatched in Arpora recently by two males on a scooter, one from a British woman, one from a Russian man. These things do not seem to get publicised so warn your friends if they are going to be out and about in Arpora at night.

Nasty accident last night on Nerul Road near to Candolim.
A tuk tuk driver was crossing the road to speak to an English guy who had just arrived and a twat came driving way too fast round the corner and ploughed into the tuk tuk driver dragging him some 70 feet onto the main Candolim Road.
Driver is apparently in a bad way.

For those of us in Goa ....the clocks in the UK leap forward an hour tonight ....into Spring!!

Sat on a sun bed outside a shack having my nails done when the police came along, the woman was unconcerned so I asked if the beach police were not a problem. She told me that she is Goan and has a licence to trade so they do not trouble her. As all the other sellers ran away these licenses must be a pretty rare thing

Was told earlier on that yesterday was declared the coldest April day for 20 yrs.
feeling really sorry for those of you that returned of late.
A year ago when I was unexpectedly there it was really warm ......it`s got 7 weeks to warm up before i`m back again

Msj5 it was FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFfffreezing and when we went to pay our respects a north easterly wind was blowing at us across the bay with such a fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffreezing force. Hottie Bottles last night. Hope it warms up soon.
