Anyone here, hear the eloquent speech by Justice Leila Seth? As always Kiran Bedi, and also Sushma Swaraj. Three women I very much admire.

Very unlikely though, they would probably choose Modi.

virtually 11pm here in goa and still 30 degrees outside and 70% humidity and a lovely storm moving around.....thunder and lightning and hope fully some rain to cool it all down....oops....rain started and had to retrieve chairs and books ....yippee!

Buses to Mumbai

Goa to Mumbai - Mahakali bus - excellent - clean and on time and the air con worked
Return from Mumbai - 'Modern' brand bus - anything but 'modern'.....filthy dirty, air con kept cutting out, driver drove at pedal cycle speed and was 5 hours late arriving in Goa...........and the bus looked like it was ready for the scrap yard..........and it was more expensive than Mahakali !!! Avoid this bus service at all costs !!!!

Only tweaking as usual (its called being young & having a j o b) so I doubt I'm permitted to comment on weather but like I care: no rain in South Goa at present, very warm & bloody humid - AC definitely required to sleep but other than that, a fan or shade will stave off a leaking head.

Went to quite a well known restaurant in Majorda on Monday night & it was dead quiet. Went to a lesser known restaurant on Tuesday night & it was busy all night with the owner not getting away until 2:30am (we left at 10:30pm!)

Yes it steamy at the moment,we normaly go back to the Uk in June but this year have decided to go earlier to get away from this weather.

I assume you mean the Pentagon ?.. stopped using it lately as it's seems to have gone downhill the last couple of times we have been.Also his beer prices are ridiculous..

Yep, Pentagon. Food was reasonable to good. Rs110 for a large (UK pint? maybe slightly more) draught Kingfisher - didn't look at the bottled beer prices. We were charged Rs800 for a bottle of Sula Sauvignon Blanc which had an MRP of Rs595 - I consider that, in comparison to most other locations to be a reasonable mark up on wine.

Correct Rs 110 for a large kingfisher but then add the tax,so not cheap.
