"Meanwhile, there are now growing concerns that chicken or pork may be minced with others to bulk it out.

Items like chicken breasts could also be injected with cheaper meats to make them bigger and more valuable, experts say

'It is not lost on retailers that they need to test significantly across this product range, across wider meat-based product ranges,' she told the Daily Telegraph.

Committees set up for applications under FEMA

Anyone know what this is about?

AndyD 8-)₹

P.S. It occurs to me that it could be about Compounding (which means admitting a contravention; agreeing the contravention is 'quantifiable'; not filing an appeal if served a Show Cause Notice/ Order of Confiscation; and paying a fine).
P.P.S IF it's about compounding then it would probably only apply to the 'company route' since contraventions where permission is needed and not obtained can not be compounded until permission is obtained.

'Pope Benedict, Joseph Ratzinger, has scheduled a meeting with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano for Saturday, February 23 to discuss securing protection and immunity from prosecution from the Italian government, according to Italian media sources... I wonder if this is true.. http://www.itccs.org/

Ratzinger's meeting follows upon the apparent receipt by the Vatican of a diplomatic note from an undisclosed European government on February 4, stating its intention to issue an arrest warrant for Ratzinger, who resigned from his pontificate less than a week later.'

Oh that's so sad. He was a terrific actor. Loved him in everything he did.

This really shows what an incompetent idiot the puppet PM Singh is, hassling Cameron about this issue!

Its an Italian company, the accused are Italian directors, and the case is under the jurisdiction of Italian investigators...........And hyper-corrupt India, effectively run by a bloody Italian has got the nerve to bring this up during our PM's visit.

Its a disgrace, and a great shame he cannot just tell them to p*ss off.

The Pope has resigned, first time this has happened for 600 years!

The reason given is that he is not strong enough to continue.
Well having seen decrepit pontiffs hardly able to move carrying on until they expire, I find this hard to believe.

More likely something from his (well documented) Nazi sympathising past, or maybe he could be embroiled in the prolific Catholic priest kiddie-fiddling hobby?

Just too sudden, and he's going by the end of the month!
