I watched a recent episode of The Romeo Section last night. It's set in and filmed in Vancouver. Lots of those alleys.
There appeared to be several women - individually - standing on corners just waiting. What on earth are they waiting for?
Probably all those young men on BMX bikes.

Whole of BC is awful, I highly recommend anyone moving to Canada avoid it. Ontario is so much more picturesque.

I used to stay at the Regent, across from the Balmoral in the 80's. It wasn't as bad then, but it wasn't great.
