Re: UK Elections
Peter Mandelson said he was a little depressed about Labour's election result. I hope feels better soon as my nephew who is in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban is worried sick about him.

Perhaps he should take the Queens shilling and head over to the Sandbox himself. Given that he believes, "I'm a fighter, not a quitter" and has "inner steel" obviously a no brainer and the lads could do with a bit more help from a self proclaimed person with super powers. Failing that, to cheer himself up he should ask BA if they have plans for a seat sale so he can get himself to Toronto for Gay Fest. |

My reading of the result was that the electorate had had enough of labour, but weren't quite willing to trust the tories without some kind of check. I suspect he'll be punished quite badly next time if he goes into a Lab/LD coalition after saying he wouldn't. It won't last either as they won't have a majority without getting the scots and welsh crack pot parties involved.

Re: UK Elections
Haven't these tossers managed to come up with something? Surely they knew they'd be hung parliament and had contingency plans? This is embarrassing and further weakens any legitimacy.
