I think I saw her dozy posh sister on a house show here, or it might have been a dream.

Hahahaha! Priceless. As you know that nonsense is shown here too. So for a change I know who you're talking about. The OH will be devastated.

I know the one you mean and I can't stand her. Show idea has been done a million times before too.

You really don't see it here in Canada...ever. Journalists are far too polite and worried about offending people and have no personality. I forgot how much I'd missed watching politicians squirm. Politics is far more interesting and full of character in the UK than here, where it's just totally bland.

THE most enjoyable television Ive watched in many years.

Paxman was rude and brilliant as usual!

Esther Ranzen is a wonderful lady, I'd have certainly voted for her in this election. If only she could be cloned so that there were 650 of her, one to stand for Parliament in every constituency in Britain. What a fantastic country Britain would be with 650 lovely Esthers at the helm. I'd certainly go back then.

If they could also clone Cyril and his odd odes, I'd probably go too.

Why exactly?

Dimbleby was half asleep when the programme started and fit to be euthanized after a couple of hours.

Jeremy whatisname was his usual boorish self, contributing nothing whatsoever.

You miss this???

hahaha, i noticed that too.

I turned over and watched Channel 4's Alternative Election night with Jimmy Carr and some other semi-funny people.

I think the Andrew Marr boat load of "celebs" just shows what a "celebrity" fixated society the UK has become. Just one of the reasons I want out of here. If the boat had sank I wonder what would have been the headline the next day? Election or wet celebs!;)

The walking up and down the stairs at No 10 with various pictures of prime minsters past, was particularly funny. Oh yes, and it was refreshing to see just how abrasive Paxman can be, particularly when it's 3am and he is presumably running a sleep deficit!;)

Shame you didnt see this... was very funny

Just looked through that. Unless the bottom two unknown entities are any good I'd be very worried if I was back in the old country.

Spoke to my father in England yesterday- he was pretty furious about the fact that Gordon Brown was refusing to leave number 10 and having a serious rant at UKIP for taking valuable votes away from the Conservatives.

It will be interesting to see how it unfolds. Surely a Conservative- Lib Dem Pact will not last a whole term?

Alan Johnson usually comes over as normal and reasonable. The rest of them would have most people wishing for the return of Gordon Brown before too long. Although its perfectly possible in the parliamentary system for a new leader to become PM without a general election it does seem to much for that to happen right at the start of a 5 year term.

It will be interesting to see if Clegg is just using this to extract more concessions from the conservatives.

From a political neutral point of view I have to wonder what Clegg is playing at. His long term goal is voting reform so that the lib dems will get more of a say in parliament. However he has that say right now and therefore has an opportunity to show that it can work. If he screws it up I don't think people will be impressed and screwing it up appears to be exactly what he is doing. Given that the polls suggested a hung parliament ages ago you'd think he'd have the various scenarios planned out.

Hope thats the case.
A Lib-Lab -Scot-Welsh-Green Pact would put this country into neutral.:(
