Nova Scotia Recce
#1
We are off on our recce this Friday (13th
) to Nova Scotia and just wondered if anyone else is going then. We are flying from Heathrow and are excited, nervous and scared all at the same time, just hoping that everything goes like we hope and that we like the place as much as we think.:
I know its not probably the best time to see NS but we know it will look a lot better in the summer etc.

It looks pretty in the snow too, although we could do with a light dusting again to freshen it all up a little.
Where abouts you off to in NS?

Yes been watching webcams and forecasts so fingers crossed for a little snow. We are staying just outside Halifax and looking at properties around this area.

We noticed that you can get lots of webcams on google earth of NS, well a few more than the official ones anyway. Only noticed it when we downloaded the latest version and were putting the check marks in all the bits we wanted to see

Enjoy your visit, we love it here and so nice to see blue skies instead of grey that we would see in the UK at this time of the year. Agree we could do with a fresh dusting of snow

The weather network as given 15mm of rain for Thursday though. Not far from you silverdragon.
But what a wonderful day today, clear blue skies and only -13 with a windchill of -21

We are hoping to hit Wentworth for a bit of skiing too-I hear that conditions are very good. Have fun and I am sure the children will spot each other on the plane.
