Well Chookie, we've just this minute returned from our inaugural Fish and Chip Club meal at the Sea Restaurant. 18 Brits...8 children (ranging from 2 to 10 years of age - all seated on one table) and 10 adults. They were terrific with us. Really friendly service. Really very good Fish and Chips. Excellent pricing. Just to note...no liquor licence...although I suspect they themselves were probably reaching for the bottle after our departure.

If you want to put your name down for the next session we're sorting out for Feb 28th (5pm, now more likely than the 6pm previously stated), then drop us a PM or email or respond on this thread.

Kind regards,

Eamonn & Janet.

Yep that's the one, it's the best in the city IMO

And just east of the bike shop is rogers where you get your cell phones from.

Have you tried Brits Fish just a bit further down the road? I've not tried Back home but Brits is amazing, and they have two locations in Edmonton.

Their family meal deal is great, 8 pieces of fish, 4 portions of chips, loads of onion rings and 4 sides. (bread and butter, gravy, peas, curry sauce etc) I think it starts at around $44 for cod and then haddock etc is a bit more.

My mum prefers it to her chippy back home.

I did but I didn't recon it, tried even Joey's still keep going back to Back home F&C. and they have a family catch for around 30 bucks lots of fish and a mound of chips.

As for any chippy back home yes it beats anything outside Britain......

What time did the BE mod get to Sea? I was there around 12pm and ended up having a good long chat with the owner who is unfortunately an Aston Villa fan.

We sat down at 5pm. Yes, saw the Villa shirt in the back of the restaurant myself and almost walked out! But hunger got the better of me!

Lisa...will definitely set up another one for after you arrive.

To the other respondents...will ensure you are on the list for the session on the 28th and will email out about that shortly. Think we are now close to a full restaurant for that session!

Eamonn, just wondering, got a couple of newbies want to come and meet you and others. Any room for throwing in some more fish & chips this weekend. No worries if not, they'll wait for the next one. Cheers

We have filled the restaurant for this session now...19 adults and 11 children...all Brits! We had to disappoint a number of people who hoped to come along this Saturday so we will definitely be looking at another session.

So anyone who wants to put their names down for that who has not already contacted us, then just drop me a PM or an email or respond on here.

Kind regards,

Eamonn & Janet.
