Well Friday night was Fish & Chips for us at Sea in Mckenzie. It was so busy we ended up eating them outside in the street. It reminded me of being back in the UK. Four of us had cod & chips with lots of salt and vinegar wrapped in newspaper, total cost was approx $31. Being typically English we walked to the dollar store which is few shops down and bought our cans of diet coke cheap. A great night out and they tasted real good - roll on next Friday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got back from there- it was worth the 45 minute drive! We had haddock and hallibut and both were fantastic, the chips were to die for and i can see myself making the trip lots!!
Afterwards we went to the british shop across the road and stocked up on chocolate and crisps and irn bru for tonight -a good day all round!
I also noticed they had HP sauce in the fridge if you wanted that too!!

LOL - we went there this evening too!!!
Had a halibut and a cod, with the malt vinegar (on request). Asked about mushy peas and they said they used to do them but because there are so many different variations of them in the UK they had quite a few sent back so gave up on them!
Will be going there again...I think I feel a craving coming on!
(although it was dark and I missed the British shop!!!)

They are closed Sunday and Mondays. Seem to be open till 8 every other night though, and it did say on the door 9pm on Fridays.
I saw the malt on the counter in packets. I think next time i go i'll be taking bread and butter too!
British shop wasnt bad too, had lots of choice and crisps were 2 for $2, just finished off some skips!

I didn't think it was anywhere near as good as we used to get in the UK but i think it's about as good as you're going to get here.
My fish was all air and batter with a skinny piece of dried up fish inside. Chips were ok though.
I have to add it was quiet when we went there on a Saturdaday lunchtime with only 10 other customers seated and we waited about 1/2 an hour for our food. God knows how they'd handle a BE meet!!
