Take the bus or a taxi that way you can have a few pints on the way home from work and not worry about crashing.

Nobody actual drives in Canada - we all have sled dogs.

Apparently dogs come in white, biege, brown, silver (old dogs) but not in blue (maybe frozen) nor red (probably dead).

Likewise cutting corners allows drivers to maintain more of their original speed by hitting the apex of the corner, thereby needing to use less gas to get back up to cruising speed.

Now you know

*This is not necessarily true, but the logic is flawless.
That's BS of course, I doubt there is logic to it either. Those old trucks are not environmentally friendly and unlikely to have cruise control. Also the ability to see round blind corners seems to be a Canadian trait. Also why bother putting rear lights on in rain and fog they have daylight running so why think? They rarely adjust speed to let you in in traffic, position themselves on the junction so someone can pass. Aggghh. And they complain about a 10 minute traffic jam that happens maybe once a day.

Canadian driving is not about reading the road and reacting ahead of time, it's all about "me" in "my" vehicle and sod the rest of you.

You don't have to be asleep to drive in BC, but it helps.

Not many cars with fog lights here, Ontario, unless you buy a Mini or Saab, then they are fused into the on position, it seems.

It is also mandatory to not indicate for any of your turns, and it appears most drivers are short sighted, or drunk, they therefore travel 2" from the rear of the car ahead so as not to swerve off the road. Already.

Asian driving is a stand out Extreme sport that other commuters have to join into, like it or not.

Other than the above, and what the previous posts said, all is good.

Could be, as they usually sling shot out of the rear mirror toward the nearest slip road/exit from any given 400 highway

In BC at a 4-way intersection it is mandatory for all drivers approaching the intersection to give way to other drivers at or approaching the intersection. It is recommended that this state of indecision should last at least two minutes until all vehicles are ready to proceed in unison. Under no circumstances should any vehicle be deemed to have priority.

This rule also exists in Ontario. Except that the second car/behind is deemed to have the right of way via default.

You forgot to mention: If you are the first one to arrive at a four way stop, you are not allowed to proceed until such time as you have waved on one other vehicle of your choice.

Sometimes a car is allowed to take a right turn without waiting for the others to move.

The posters on this thread just provide evidence as to why liquor/beer distribution is Government controlled in most of this country. God only knows what rubbish they would write if it was not.
