The good thing about living in Australia is that we don't have to deal with all the crap to do with soccer world cups. Unfortunately, this year, they've gone and qualified again, which has rather dented their ability to ignore the sport, but they'll get knocked out in the first round and normal service should be resumed...

I'm not going to watch SA v Mexico. Instead I am going to get up early and watch Ireland....sorry, I mean France play Uraguay.

Can anyone tell me, when the WC scheduling changed? It used to be that the first game of every world cup was the previous winners v someone in their group. So it should be Italy v whoever?
