I understand that when I take my printed internet forms in for the medical they post them all off together? If I don't have my police checks by then I guess I just forward them on afterwards with my TRA number? Also - will i need to bring all the evidency stuff / stat decs to post off with the medicals or should I wait until the police checks come through and bundle that in with it?
Wait for the police checks - you don't send off the medicals, the doctor does - and he wont let you see it before he sends it!!!!!!

Hi Everyone

I'm back online at home! Yay!!

Not much happening here though, we're waiting on the police checks and have husbands medicals on March 28th, will be sending off for the visa once all that is back and hopefully going just after Christmas, so Jan 08 (I would go sooner but wise husband is thinking money wise it'd be better for us to go after Christmas)

Hope everyone is well and hope to catch up with you all soon!

Congrats to those who have their visa!!

Regarding the police checks - I understand it comes in a tamperproof envelope - do I have to send it off unopened, or do you know if can i open it then post it off? Am curious to see if there is anything juicy in there!

Hey guys - has anyone on the spouse visa trail done a blog on BE? I am thinking about doing one to chart how I feel about the whole move so I can look back on it and family and friends can read it.....but will not start it until I actually do something useful, like apply!!!

Well mine just came as a sheet of paper saying they had no knowledge of me (as in I'd never been arrested) there was no question of me not being able to see it.

I'm having a frustrated day - again. I was hoping to hear by now but nothing

Can you kind folks give me some idea of how long i'll have to wait now - it's been 8 weeks since they rec'd our application for fiance visa.

I'm gonna go and cry now another day over and no email

Didn't you post elsewhere about your son being diabetic or something? Thats probably the holdup as they will have had to refer it to Australia for the medical to be looked at. Not that there should be a problem, its just that ANY medical issues are referred to a panel.
