Not fair. I have no mates. Where are the Canberra girlies? I bet you will have a riot.

GTFC and rancid - sorry, I posted the update before I read your notes about where you were going!

I am so desperate to go as I just had a meeting with my boss today about going back to work after maternity leave.....and it was horrible and I ended in tears...so quite frankly I wish I could tell them where to stick their job right now!!
Shame Keep thinking of your little one in the sun. Won't be long

Cool - he is computer illiterate, but my niece has just turned 18 and I know uses the local internet cafe in desperation (we'll get him online if it kills us!!!!) so I'll get her on here to contact you.

I'm told it's great there, and quite warm at the mo.

thanks 3littlefigs - means a lot when someone gives me support - been in tears last night and tonight thinking about how much I have given to the company and how little they now think of me.

You are right - shove 'em!! This time in 12 months, they will be a dim and distant memory!!

Nope - I tried when we went up to get Sir's passport and was told to take it across the road to the local post office and post it!!!

You can try making an appointment with them to hand it in, but they only see people from 9 - 11 and I don't know if they will give an appointment to hand in forms.

Noooooooooooooo don't let them upset you, they don't deserve the honour of your tears.

I know how you feel though I am back to work after a few days off and ooooh it was hard to make myself come in here today (I've been here 20 years, and someone else, one of my juniors, just got thanked for a piece of work I spent the last week knackering my eyes finishing!!!!!)

Wow you lot can gab on

I've been away for just a few days and I came back to pages and pages full

Well I'm not back online yet as problems with connecting to the internet in our new place, hoping to be connected in a couple of weeks. At my SIL at the moment so thought I'd pop in and say hello

Not much movement on the visa front at the moment as waiting for family to get back to us with the stat decs!! My BIL in Aus who wrote us one has gone to Canberra for two weeks and won't be back to get it witnessed for 2 weeks! Also I don't even think family over here have begun to write theirs Why do they think it's not very important to get them done quickly?

When we have them back we'll be having the medical done and will be sending off for the police checks this week or next week at the latest. I'm not stressing as much as I was about the visa now, the only thing I am stressing about is getting the stat decs off of family!

Anyway, hello to all the newbies to the circle and will catch up with you all soon!

Take Care

Kristy x

Kirsty,

Don't hang about sending off for the police checks, they will prolly take the longest to come, at least 4 weeks, prolly longer.
