Wow! This looks great! So which channel is going to be the first to air it?

Some might not know that Alcatraz and Terra Nova, two "glossy sci-fi" programmes I bailed out on after a handful of episodes, have both been cancelled - unsurprisingly most would say.

I downloaded the first episode last night and watched, was pretty good (and no plastic acting either). Looking forward to the proper tv screening of the series when it starts, think it's next week.

(Just to point out it was Last Resort I downloaded last night!!).

Sadly nobody - all of the US networks have declined to pick it up. I believe that the Pilot episode has been made, but nobody seems willing to screen that either.

There was talk of it being released in an online format. maybe we will get to see the pilot one day, but it's not looking good for a full length series

Watched Last Resort - again, lots of potential but lacking with plenty of holes

Ballistic missile subs are not used to pick up special forces
Even the shittiest little island nation will have a government - not run by some local warlord
Exploding a Trident D5 ICBM 200 miles off the east coast of the US is still going to kill a lot of people, aka sailors

We'll see
