There is no jury. He's being tried by judge alone, so the performances are for the cameras and press.

The prosecution does not need to prove motive. They only have to prove that he knew it was her behind that door and that he shot with the intention of doing harm. For all we know maybe he needed a slash and she was taking too long in the bathroom. It doesn't matter why, just that he didn't do it accidentally.

He's guilty alright. Why would he NOT check the safety of his gf BEFORE shooting like a maniac?

I'll bet he checked the safety was off his weapon

Yeah thought about that and I have to truly say, if I thought someone was busting in my front door at 4 in the morning I'd automatically assume Mrs Beoz was in bed. I don't think the checking of safety really comes into it.

Ok another story. MAny years ago I was sharing a flat in London with a friend who was female. One night I heard someone walking around the house. I just assumed it was my flatmate, thought nothing of it until the morning when we discovered we'd been burgled during the night. Had I have thought clearly I would have remembered that I had never heard my flatmate ever walking around the flat during the night in the past. She wasn't a nightly p8sser. Assumption hey .... How could I be so wrong at 4 in the morning.

On the night he killed his girlfriend he is claiming that he had heard noises and told his girlfriend to ring the police or get help ( I can't remember exactly what he said now) anyway this is what he is claiming. He is also claiming that he heard noises in the bathroom and that he thought it couldn't possibly be his girlfriend as she was downstairs. He said he shouted but there was no answer, he said he was scared and felt vulnerable as he didn't have his legs on and before he knew it he had taken shots at the bathroom door.


His dead girlfriends phone was used as evidence in court yesterday. A couple of text messages he had sent her are being perceived as threatening, and he had to explain the content to the judge.
He spoke about being at a party, a social gathering of some kind when he saw his girlfriend talking to another man. He walked over hoping she would introduce him but she didn't, he then sort of pushed himself forwards in between them hoping this would lead to an introduction. Again it didn't, they later had an argument and he lost his temper with her. There have been a few examples of this kind of jealous behaviour, which doesn't exactly do him any favours.

However what does go in his favour is that he has an answer/ logical explanation for everything that's thrown at him. Like Amazula and Garry said earlier, he's got the best lawyers money can buy, and it shows.


At the end of the day money talks doesn't it, money and status, had it been someone who was poor I'm sure the key would have been thrown away long before now.

There seems to be very little doubt he murdered his girlfriend in a fit of rage, he had well documented anger issues and also gun related issues. She locked herself in the bathroom and he killed her in cold blood.
