sounds like a nice weekend...when do you plan to go to Oz? Is it Sydney you're heading for? My head has been a bit mashed this weekend thinking about all teh stuff i had to do.......it's only when i started reading this site how much stuff needed doing!! i just though it was about packing my bikini and going! ha ha! :-) had a good weekend tho...shopping yesterday and a few bevvies in the eve and they went running and to the gym today.....i'm exhausted now...time for a glass of vino and a relaxing eve.

6 weeks is quick but timescale all depends on which state apparently. hope you've started thinking about what things you have to do before you go...it's alot believe me! this time tomorrow, hopefully all will be confirmed for ya and you'll be ready to start planning properly. fingers crossed for ya...you'll be fine i'm sure.:-)

I know that feeling! I left most of my bikinis and some other stuff at my sistser when I came home at end of Jan. Figured I wont need them here. I'm hoping to be out there for next Christmas or just after. I want to live between Sydney and Wollongong - here's hoping! Gin and tonic for me! :D

Hi people!! Been doing a lot of thinking this week-end too!! If you like "To do" lists Lou & Pony, there are some crackers on here!! I nearly threw up on the spot when I read them :p but perhaps after your industrious week-ends you will be less shocked than I was.

hey aquamarine! i found the lists on here this avo actually after already writing myself one so I've added another page to my already never ending list! don't think i realised how intense this was gonna be....silly and naive me! hope you've had a good non-list weekend??

Definitely decided to give myself a breather this week-end! It's the financial/ professional registration stuff that is going to stress me out most - no possessions to worry about, except my books. What am I going to do with my books????:confused: Wanted a clean break so perhaps I should just give them away???

I was hoping for a cleanish break. But now I'm looking at all my "stuff" thinking well I need that, and I couldnt part with that and what about them pictures.............so have now added excess backage shipping quotes to list!:lol:

To be fair, alot of the lists doesnt apply to me as i dont have any kids, house or loans etc!! I'm in a very good position to be going. Although yes there is still alot for me to do with regards to files/references/closing/opening etc etc!!!

I'm depressed - just got told that even if VETASSESS accept my qualification, DIAC might not accept my work experience as skilled if it was before I qualified. Why is this whole process just so completely flippin rubbish! :mad:
