Lived in Sydney for a year.
Had to come back due to lack of visa.

Planning to return to Sydney if possible, otherwise NZ in early 2009.

Doin it all on my own, again!

Hiya!! Sorry for delay in posting our arrival (only been here 6 weeks!!) but sooo much to do (wetsuits - not used for long!!-, surfboard, bike, school, furniture - new beds, yummy!!, - no job yet!!) and no internet!!!!!!!

In the Library at Warringah Mall at the mo!! Just booked out "Learn to surf" DVD for my son (had a week's worth of lessons at Manly Surf School last week but still having a bit of trouble on his own board), a Tim Winton book for me and printed of a brochure for the Australian Open in Melbourne in January.

How are all you other new arrivals??? Sharon/MT Pockets - how are you?? Doc is out here somewhere???!!!

Pace - you only have 6 days to go before what - being here too??? Paul - hi!!! How's your Dad?? Booked your flight, eh?? Well Done!! Pony - Hurry Up!!!

Will be back in Library next week sometime and am going home to ring Optus or someone now!!! (Any good homephone/broadband deals out there??)

Congratulations everyone who's made prgress with their visa's...good news all round!

I've just realised I've been here nearly 6wks and it feels like a lifetime! Having a hard time with homesickness but I think that's mainly due to the fact I've not made many friends here yet... moving into a permanent apartment next week so then can go out and start socialising properly!

I'm flying to Sydney on 30th November. Will be out west of the blue mountains for first few years but hoping to end up on the Illawarra coast eventually. Got six weeks in Thirroul with mysister before i have to start work - so a really relaxed start to my new life. Where are you heading for?
