I got a CO today. Requested meds and pccs and my sponsors citizenship cert, as I forgot to upload it when I applied :rofl:

I'm going to Adelaide, so won't be meeting anyone in a hurry! :(

Looks like I've got a start date too now, 2nd Jan!!!

Hi all, i've not posted on the loners thread for along time so i'll just firstly say good luck and well done to everyone waiting and getting visas and also thumbs up to those that are already over here!:thumbup:

I'm in Queensland now, been here four days so far, just been sorting my tfn, banking, buying a car, drivers license etc etc at the moment and am going to enjoy a month or two of dossing to settle in before job hunting.

Now of to the bottle shop to stock up on tinnies ready for the bathurst 1000 tomorrow:cool:

Just got a call from the doc which I wasn't expecting on a sunday evening to say my meds are fine and they're being posted tomorrow. :thumbsup:

Fingers crossed, I'll have a visa before xmas.

That was nice - for the doc to call! Its good when people reassure you and keep you up dated. The waiting game is agony as it is without not actually knowing whether progess has/or hasn't been made!

I'm going 30th November from Manchester. Xmas day is usually cheaper. Do you not want a few more weeks in the sun before you start work?:confused:
