When we had our first child it was an accident. OH wanted children, he said, but was in no hurry. We were 30 when our first was born. Oh said he wanted a garage, but got a baby, however his wall to wall smile belied his feelings on the matter and he absolutely loves the 4 kids we now have despite the fact tha he still maintains that if we were to do it again he wouldn't have kids.

I dunno, Mrs Kiwi, there's no right and wrong and if you don't want kids don't have them, but if you find you do you will adapt.

Some thing me & OH agreed on ! after 5 kids and him turning 38 it was a case of ..more than enough kids and he felt that it would be ridiculous at his age to have any more (not that we would !) so thats it for us , and although I wouldn't change a thing ,I am really glad that its all done and we can just look forward to them growing up without another newborn on the horizon
So my view is if you feel up to it...go for it ...you'll never look back...as you just won't have the time

I'm 36, 3 kids and the youngest turns 3 in October - enough for me!
