Happy belated birthdays lovely ladies. I've always said all the best babies were born in January.

Just got a quote for car repairs- $2138.40- more than $500 more than the guestimate.

Maybe consider "living with" the damage
...Assuming it's safe to do so

Not too bad between yesterday and today. Got lots of decluttering etc done in view of getting this house on the market by the end of the month. Exciting times ahead house hunting.

No choice in our lives, The wife has to have French blood in her ancestory somewhere, She just has to touch park and try tight spaces on either side of a car. I've yet to own a car in my 35 years plus with her that she hasn't scrapped or dented within 4-5 months of owning it. Thats including two brand new ones in that time. Hence now I just drive old bombs and keep erm maintained.... Absoultely no point in worrying about the appearance or lack of in cars in our lives.
Both the Ford and Barina I own would have at least 10 dents each on them.
In all those years, she has never been pulled up or caught by the other driver either.
I cannot believe how blase she is about cars, she's pretty fussy about everything else. F knows how we'll go when we get a motor home... never mind I'm used to it now.

If I hadn't 'lost' my keys in my handbag and been hunting for them I would have been next to my car on the drivers side and taken the full impact ...
and probably be dead.
Poor little Getz, that's its SECOND vicious, nasty, unprovoked attack in the last 4 months...
