We had a look on the QLD museum website and are pretty sure they are striped marshfrogs. Quite cute anyway but not as cute as the little tree frog that jumped on the window the other night. It did surprise me a tad but he was lovely but didn't stop long

Striped is OK, glad you looked it up, took a long time for Dagboy to understand that what he thought were lovely little brown frogs were actually cane toads though .

I think most of our frogs in Australia are green or striped.

The green tree frogs are lovely .

Single blow to the head lmao thats funny......wonder if they have ever tried killing the bastards, hubby hit one with a golf club 3 times and ut just sat there and looked at him....had to get the garden fork out!!!!!! it was huge

Salt and dettol makes em squeal they dont like that but it works a treat

in response to the officail line of putting em in the freezer.......what happens if you get them out, put em in the bin and they defrost only to come back to life!?
cos it can happen y'know........if they are frozen slowly......ok, i'll stop wittering


my other half didnt beleive me when i told him about cane toad golf......now hes kinda looking forward to it in a strange kind of way

im with you on this one mate, the sis in law live on a darm in Port douglas. when we sat out at night they were everywhere. she filled up a bottle with detol+ and we had fun hunting them down at night.
