The wife reckons she can cope with everything except the removal of the cane toads...I have visions of coming home to a box full of the things so am after any suggestions for how people are disposing of the said creatures.

The official method is to catch them and put them in a bag in the freezer but I don't fancy that A woman at work says that when she was a kid her mother's freezer was always full of the beasts :scared:

if they are on the lawn - mow over them!!!!

Not a clue, I am frightened of frogs and toads too, they are just so ugly.

My lovely charming daughter and her even more charming friend poured salt over there back and watched them explode, I don't think she has done it again in a hurry, We personally think throwing rocks at tham work ok they soon scarper.

We hit the last lot with wash powder and bleach.

So my daughter says, I have not tried it myself as she walks round with a handfull of salt, Bit sick if you ask me, I let the little uggs live.

all this sounds a little bit mean. I know there a pest and everything but dont think I could bring myself to kill anything etc cockroaches they can all DIE!!!

ok just read the link they sound pretty horrible too, think I may stick to the calling someone to collect them method should i come across one. yuk!
