Needless to say Finance dept have ensured he is laughing stock.
They love that: stand in middle of 32 strong office and shout "WHO RAN A RED LIGHT"

Derrrr what does the title of my thread say??? Did you read it? If you don't like it you know what you can do! Stop bleating about my moaning and go elsewhere!

Meelie, I'm with you on this one.
There's a big difference between irresponsible speeding (going over the limit in a residential area for example) and taking a bit too long to slow down when the limit drops suddenly.
They obviously sit at that point to catch the maximum amount of people and generate the most revenue.
I live on a dead end lane(30mph limit) with a garage at the bottom and irresponsible a*seholes speed down it several times a day meaning I don't like my kids playing out on the pavement. There's never a copper out there to catch them.
I always drive at 30mph or under when it's a 30 limit because it's usually a residential area.
on a 60mph dual carriageway I'd happily drive at 65 without worrying at all.
you gave fair warning in the thread title that you wanted to have a moan.

I set the speed control on my car to make an audible beep when I reach 58KPH so I know to take my foot off the gas and slow up a little.
I had the speed beeper thing retrospectively fitted and they can be fitted to any car for a couple of hundred bucks.....About what you are going to have to pay within the next few weeks for this speeding offence.

Naa, I am going to stay here and wait for you to admit what you did was wrong, like I said speeding is speeding.

I don't think people have a problem with your moaning, just a few people's (and your) flippant attitude towards speeding.........

Yes, children will probably always run out into the road.
But if a car travelling at 30mph hits a child, the child has an 80% chance of survival.
If the same car hits a child at 40mph, the child has only a 20% chance of survival (an 80% chance of being dead).
Sitting inside the car, there doesn't seem much difference travelling at 30mph or 40mph, but it makes quite a difference to the pedestrian or cyclist that gets hit.
