Far as I know they aren't the same company. Book Depository is usually cheaper, but not always. Even with the postage I have found some things cheaper on Amazon at times - certainly worth checking both.

Great read, but I've read waaaayyyy better.Still, is worth reading the whole story.

What I found was that there were so many people who raved about it that the people who didn't much care for it became vociferous in their objections which made the ravers become even more ravey and the detractors even stronger in their opinions and so it all became a bit of a marmite situation - love it or hate it. I just thought it was a really enjoyable read.
I've just finished Robin Hobb's Farseer Trilogy (Assassin's Apprentice, Royal Assassin and Assassin's Quest)- I'd been contemplating reading the books for the last 2 or 3 years and finally got round to it after a trip to a second hand book shop. I thoroughly enjoyed them!
Time for another little break from Fantasy now but not sure what my next book will be!

I really enjoyed the trilogy which I read when it first came out and fortunately before I read too many other peoples opinion on the books. I struggled to get into the first book, the first 50 - 100 pages I found a bit like wading through yesterday's porridge but once I got into it, I was away!

Hey SC have you read the huge books by Diana Gabaldon?....not sure of their collective names but its based around a lot of Scottish history at the time of Culloden...The first is called cross stitch. I'm on the 5th one, they are over a thousand pages each. I was lent them by a friend and expected to hate them...cant put them down!
