it creates a very special bond too - I love all my sister's kids dearly, for example, but there is an extra "something" between the me and the youngest one, my god-daughter.

**** Breaking news ****

Flynn's been moved out of his humidi crib into a nornal open crib. We arrived for our afternoon visit with Flynn and they were aclimatising him to it by turning down his crib temp.

We got him dressed in warm clothes and wrapped in a blanket. The open crib seems quite small compared to his previous one. It will be a lot easier to change him now though.

The ward was very christmassy this morning with Santa coming round and having his picture taken with all the babies. Also on each of the cribs was a Christmas card with a picture of the baby. Flynns looked very cute. Also there was a christmas stocking for each of the babies with some nice little gifts in.

Fabulous. Couldn't have had a nicer present.

A brilliant christmas pressie for you guys. You must have had a hell of a good day.

Bordy, no one desrves it more my dear friend, no one. All the way through my pregnancy i knew who was gonna be asked. Weather you'd accept or not was another question

Flynn also began sucking his thumb yesterday and the day before, when he was in the bath, he smiled. Not at anything particular, just smiled.

Spoke to the guru (AKA Clara) yesterday (and i gave her a massive hug too ) and she said providing the next cranial ultra sound is good (gulp ) we will look to move to Casey at the end of the week. Wednesday/ thursday is pencilled in for the next scan.

Casey? Is that your local hospital? Fantastic news. I'm impressed with how Flynn is progressing. He must have inherited his Mummy and Daddys fighting spirit

Yes, its about 6 ks from home.

Christmas was ok. Great to see Flynn but i just wanted to stay ALL day. But other commitments just got in the way!

I just can't wait till next year.....
