The 2 kg marker, great news!! It might as well be the first X-mas present you gave your parents. Well done little one, you've worked really hard to achieve this. And the love of your parents and all the people surrounding you it's amazing. And you deserve it. If you ever read these posts and how much people feel for you and your parents....you can really feel love and positive vibes!!
Take care and I hope 2007 will be a happy happy year!!

Well Flynn had a very busy day. Firstly he was wide awake when we arrived, just lookin round, grinning away, maybe he was feeling a bit smug cos he passed his hearing test
Then they just HAD to upset him with the dreaded eye drops (the ones that dilate the pupils, ) then he had another eye test, bone bloods taken from the vein in his hand, sticky urine bag....the lot really! They then decided to leave the cranial ultra sound till tomorrow
Anyway Clara and i had a quick heads together and decided that because of the following that Casey this week was not a good plan. He will head there next Thursday or Friday......The last eye tests have showed "a rim" on the left eye. This one was clear, so the same lady who has done all four tests is obviously the one to make the call re any further treatment, so she will re test next Wednesday. He is also due for his 8 week immunisations in three days :scared: and it can have adverse effects in premmies (more braddys etc) This also coincides with him being weaned off his theophallin (sp) which is the lung stimulant that he has twice a day, so he really will be free wheeling. We also want all the bone bloods to be good and for him to be off his iron and calcium for a few days, then tested again to check the anaemia has really gone. Also he will be transported by "nets" and the whole journey is supposed to be pretty stressy for them too...
So, silly as it sounds, i'm really happy with that joint decision. I know Casey are gonna be good, but everyone knows him in the Monash so if there is any difference in his behaviour over the next few days they will pick it up straight away.

Flynn is the most amazing baby, I am keeping my fingers crossed that he continues to make progress and that it is not too long till he comes home.

Well hes had another good day today. He nearly got his dad into trouble mind!! He has a habit of waking up when Hev's goes somewhere. Today she went down to the cafeteria and sure enough

Though thankfully he stayed awake when she got back too!

He was wide awake for over an hour.
