Check out any football site at present, and you will find that they are slagging off the English team more than anyone. There again they are the paying punters and probably have more insight into the machinations of the team than anyone else. Lots are repeating what Moneypen has been saying.

Lampard has gotta go though. Seems to be an almost universal agreement.

Main topic for Disagreement for pros and cons on both sides is Crouch.

Lampard has got to go where? He played very well in my books as did Gerrard and Crouch.

England are to play Sweden next, I see a 3-0 victory for Sven's men.

It has been said before

I am just someone who likes to watch a good game of footie - whether Association, Rugby or AFL. Nothing I have seen England do so far has shown me that they have any skills except passing the ball between them. IN MY HONEST OPINION. It is your right to disagree but I am right

Make way for Carrick. Lampard had a hell of a lot of passes go astray v T&T, Gerrard's performance I feel was Passable, Crouch worked his nuts off.

I respect your opinion but have to disagree. Lampard had an off game by his standards but was still an inspiration and a leader in the midfield area.
Carrick is a different type of player and could come on when England are a few goals ahead but he is not a starter in my books.

I feel that Beckham was the weak link certainly down the right, to take off Carragher push Beckham back to right back and replace him with Lennon said it all for me.
Why on earth he did`nt play a 5 man midfield beggar`s belief

Your post reminds me of that armchair manager advert that was running in the UK a few years ago. No offence meant though.

I'm hoping for a damn good match tonight, and for once I can really support one team. Argies v Serbia and Montenegro. Let the underdogs bite their frigging nuts off.

Errr scuse my Ignorance, but any well known players from Serbia and Monte play in the english league, actually not even well known just anyone ?

Savo Milosevic played for Villa and was half tidy for a bit.

Should be a good game tonight though. I reckon that the Island stealing (attempted) Argie bar stewards will prevail though.

We would all be millionaires, if we could predict football results though soapy.

Hmmm maybe not...

Basically I read Wifebeaters comments as him more wanting Aussie to lose, rather than beleiving from my own particular stance that he was incorrect. I honestly felt he was wrong, and the other nights events have proved that.

Lots of English football supporters want Aussie to lose, I take this from the Australian stance as a huge compliment. I think it's based on what they know deepdown, is inevitable.

Having said all of that, I'm not sure how I will feel being a ardent football fan, about my country of choice, beating my country of birth and formation.
