Exactly. As TE said, the sort of blokes I'd describe as dull would probably think the same of me, cos I talk too much, don't surf or own a boat. Nothing controversial there, just different cultures...mate
Each to their own strengths. If one does like the more meaningful, deep discussion scenario then Australia really isn't the place to be. Same to a lesser extent with the pub banter. Doesn't work anywhere near as well out here.....but then that's a very British thing that is rather unique to those islands. |

A great way to wind Canadians up is to, purposely, confuse them with Americans. Asking them what part of the US they are from usually gets a good reaction.

I love Canadians. They're like the nice version of Americans. Met heaps of when we were on holiday in Cuba, they were great fun.

Yes. Aussies as a general rule prefer to be doing something than conversing around a coffee as in Europe, although an element do it here as well.

Canada is anther great country - at least the west coast. If the weather were 5 degrees warmer it would be the garden of eden. Canucks can be a bit standoffish though which can make fitting in a bit hard. |

I've not had any problem with the yanks (even the southerners didn't give me a hard time for calling them yanks). Their administrations in recent years has been a pile of poo though.
