That would be because the Peak district has mountains, whereas the Blue Mountains is a dissected plateau. If you're going to compare two places on the opposite side of the world and attempt to find similarities, then at least attempt to educate yourself on some sort of geological aspect of where you are. :rofl:
Just pointing out that I think the blue mountains are a bit dull (like much of Australia). I am used to living in areas of 'outstanding natural beauty' like the Peak district.:) |

I have had my fill...I prefer higher altitudes...they look nice in pictures... It's a personal thing. |
