I hear what you're both saying, but I'm not on the wind up or trying to be controversial, just expressing in words what I have believed for a very long time. Thanks for the psychobabble advice dv but I'm not you, I have my own ideas and opinions and my black dog has a different agenda to yours. ;)

It may be a dull conclusion, but it is fairly accurate- you can't class every man as dull, just because you have met some that are. That is a sweeping generalisation.

A sweeping generalisation on BE?:ohmy::ohmy:

OP.. the answer is yes and no.

No black dog this end. I shoo mine away before it takes over and pisses me off.

I also don't get involved in Farcebook and windup shitfests:sneaky:

Couldn't agree more. They are another good reason why we should just take all the safety and warning labels off things and let nature take it's course.

More than a hint of truth there,i'm afraid. Always found generally a poor relationship across the gender divide.(bit of a cliche,i know)
Things have improved over the years somewhat.....but overall yes a little over inhibited with the emotional side and as you say tending at times to be a little dull, on the conversational side at any rate.

I'd say like most things here... Most aren't, but the minority that are make up for the rest.

Was that specific enough or do you need data and peer reviewed studies to support it also.

Is the wife a teacher too? Geelong is a small town.................

Exactly. As TE said, the sort of blokes I'd describe as dull would probably think the same of me, cos I talk too much, don't surf or own a boat. Nothing controversial there, just different cultures...mate
