Humidity's up on yesterday and it's a tad warmer, might help the bowler's swing it a bit . . .

Best moment of the last two days:
To the tune of yellow submarine
Barmy Army:"you're next queen is Camilla Parker-Bowles"
Bimbo Aussie: (for all to hear) "why's that funny?"

Not very high scoring is it? Not even close to 300 runs in a day.

Aus, really have had the best of the conditions so far. England pretty much exclusively batted in overcast conditions but Aus didn't really see any cloud cover until the last hour or so of the day. Additionally, that outfield was a lot faster today, there were a few that split the slips cordons that ran for 4, which just didn't happen for England, they all slowed up.
Given all that, England really bowled very well today. I am very proud in our attack, because there was little to no swing for us yet they performed really well and certainly answered the Aussie critics on whether they could perform in Aussie conditions.

I reckon Hussey and Haddin have wrestled it back in Aus' favour. But as we have seen so far in this test it keeps swinging in favour of different teams.

My first experience today of the Barmy Army close-up too. Very entertaining, very pleasant, love their work Oh, and the Queen dropped in for a pint as well
