Anyway, an update on the Eastenders episode that is my life!

Results from the Doc, Lump on my spine is a clot and haematoma. Because of where it is if it doesn't go away in a couple of weeks they will operate.
My liver isn't working because some gall stones are blocking things up. I have to get my gall bladder out, date to be determined.

Bugger. :( K, why can't they get the gall stones gone instead of getting it out?

Work issue is a toughie in light of all this new stuff. The job they are offering will be on less money and so on but they will keep it open regardless of how much time I have off and I will only be required to do light duties.
It seems I have a cast iron case for unfair dismissal but this is only likely to net me a few K after lawyers etc and jobless at the end. The health situation will make gaining a new job tough and no chance of a reference.
I will have to think about the best course....
Will they 'promote' you back to your old job once you're well?

Let us know how we can help. I've had shite times in my life K. It will get better.... but it's hell when you're in it.
But when you're going through hell... keep going!

The one thing I learnt when I went through some crap in 2005 is that bad things happens to nice people occassionally, end of. I don't buy into the thinking that "what comes around goes around" and that is the end of it... if that was the case, then there are plenty of people walking about without a care in the world who should have had a whole lot of bad karma dumped on their shoulders? Its an idealism that makes us feel that we have some sort of control of issues that are plainly out of our hands.

I do, however, believe in "waking up and smelling the coffee" (and cliches apparently! LOL!) so take this time to have a bit of re-think on what *you* want from life and what you are currently getting from it ... I mean this from a non-heavy point of view.. more a reflection on life in general... in other words, could this be a opportunity for you to start up that business that you have always said that you wanted ? (Am talking/typing hypothetically here... I can't recall you mentioning a business idea etc..) but you get my meaning... ??

Oh my! I am rambling.. time to re-water my wine glass my lovely Kporte! ;)

Em x

I know exactly what you're saying Em. These past 2 years have been really difficult for me and I've had more than my fair share of bad things happen. Late last year I sat back and took stock of where I was at and where I wanted to be. Some tough decisions had to be made, and I'm sure there were some people who were hurt by them me included. I don't want to be sitting her in a couple of years thinking "why didn't I ever (insert life goal here)?

I am at Doc tomorrow I will discuss

If your Mrs has any tampons they're what the ENT I worked for used to recommend. You'll look like a complete tool with tampax sticking out of your nose, but they will absorb the blood so you're not dripping everywhere and also help create a clot. Oh, and if you do use tampax to stop the blood could you please post photos here so we can all laugh at you? It's the least you could do after all the sympathy we've shown.

It seems that for my case it has to go. not sure why. Means other changes to my life, you can live without one but it has it's problems apparently.

My old job has gone for good, the new guy was at my desk when I went in today:lol:

Even with a solid case it is not so clear cut now with me still recovering from the PE and 2 ops to come up....

Life sure can suck sometimes Dorothy. You wonder what is going on when you get hit by a lot of issues at once. I hope things are better for you now:wub:

Should i get applicator ones and do you suggest heavy or regular flow?

Slender unless you have a particularly huge honker.

And thanks. Some things are getting better, others worse and some will never change so I've had to accept them for what they are.

Don't get the applicator ones, you might lose the tampons in your brain. As for regular or heavy, it probably depends on how wide the nostrils are.

I shall buy some "pads with wings" and go hang-gliding and roller-blading

Sounds like sound advice to me. You'll be running in slow motion, swimming in public pools and stretching to reach high up stuff with a smile on your face and no discomfort within no time

Wouldn't say his nostrils were big but perhaps a few pillows would suffice:D
