Looks like England are gonna pull defeat from the jaws of victory.
C'mon Aussie C'mon.

Sour grapes. Our performance at the Olympic and Commonwealth games puts the lie to that feeble accusation.
Nice try, though. And I do feel your pain. Really I do.
It just feels so much better from where I'm sitting.

Yeah yeah yeah time for all the sweaty socks and English traitors to have a field day! This is a terrible defeat. I am ashamed of the England performance.

Hey your boys played well for 3.5 days. Even at start of play today I don't think you would have found many Scots or Aussies saying the Aussies could win.
It was a woeful day by English team.
And don't us Scots / Aussies love it.

It's one thing to get beat, but quite another to drop your trousers and touch your toes...
Not trying to take anything from the Aussies, best side and all that, but there's no way we should have lost that...
Feel a bit sorry for people who've got tickets for the Melbourne/Sydney tests because as a contest it'll all be over by then (if it isn't now)...
There'll be wholesale culling once this touring party gets home...

What a fantastic performance by Australia on the last day!!
Bloody brilliant result....
Can't wait for the 3rd test now in my home city!
Perth will bloody kick off if we can wrap up The Ashes at The WACA...

When the 'Soceroos' did beat England it was a very young experimantal side including one wayne Rooney on debut in a dead rubber friendly match. And even then it was a stunning defeat, a total shocker.

The convicts were very lucky today though, even Warne admitted as much in his post game interview.

England were effectively bowling with 2 bowlers, Hoggard & Flintoff. Harmison has to go & Panesar has to be selected. They also had some bad umpiring decisions today, but that happens. Bell's runout was inexcuseable though & the rot really set in after it. I think England would have survived without it.
Looking forward to the Perth test. In a way it makes it more interesting as England now need to win & if they do the series is back on.

"pidgeon, ham and pineapple!" - does anyone know what the hell Shane Warne was going on about?
