I'm not sure if that was a serious question or if you were being sarcastic, but in case it was the former - I didn't own a tumble dryer, if I had then I would've shipped it, on the advice from people here. My ancient microwave self-destructed the week the shippers were due, otherwise that would've come as well.
I think I'm gonna have to set aside some days before the shippers come to clean anything that needs cleaning...
Any advice on how to get used bikes etc gleaming would be appreciated though

I think I'm gonna have to set aside some days before the shippers come to clean anything that needs cleaning...

It's the luck of the draw what AQIS pick up, ours came through unscathed, the bikes hadn't even been opened. Others have gone to great lengths and had the lot opened.

We brought over three shedful of garden tools, bikes, ancient woodworking tools, mechanic tools. Didn't use any Jeyes. Just pressure washer and WD40. The husband did spray paint some things like spades etc but only because he's a bit anal and had used the angle grinder on any rust he found. If you want to black the wheels do so but you don't have to.
