We're just starting to look at interest only mortgages and we think we will have to move from our present lender as they are not being very helpful. Did you have any problems? Who are you with? Sorry for all the questions.

They are actually 'Nationwide' underneath but had no problems whatsoever. It took one month and two days from applying to get the IO mortgage offer today.
We applied on the 15th July, they sent an evaluer around a few days later and then we waited a few weeks and got the offer today.
We did already have a signed tenant through a letting agency for a one year rental lease, and had a purchase offer on the house before then, which helped for evaluation purposes.
I highly recommend them.

Have had my hopes raised and then dashed and then raised again in the space of 5 days. Had an offer on the house on Saturday which we declined, they came back with a counter offer that did not quite meet our expectations but was in the ball park but by Tuesday was gone. Their buyer has pulled out as they couldn't get the mortgage they needed. Our potential buyer is coming to see us again tonight and has apparently accepted another offer so here we go again!!!
