Yeah I heard the pump running dry yesterday and when I checked the skimmer box the level had gone below.

Hence the hour of running the tap, but gutted I didn't check the forecast as today would've got it to where it is now (maxed) without the hour yesterday.

Will def be checking forecast next time, but you know how it goes, it's Australia, it don't rain here!

38° today so we've had to put the hose in to cool it down a bit. Not so refreshing when the water's the same temperature as the air.

Our pool is about a foot deep atm so temperature is irrelevant.

Filling from the house tank as I type as we are nearing full capacity water-wise

Buying a water pump next week for da new tank ...

Still loving the cooler conditions ...

Yep, mine too. Can't leave the pump on during the week in case it runs dry.

Yeah almost did that recently. I knew the water was low, but didn't realise it was THAT low.

The pump didn't sound right so when inspecting I see no water running thru it, so switched it off.

After further investigating I see the water wasn't over the skimmer box ... ... so threw an hours worth of water in, all good after.

Pissed down the next day tho ...
