Some people leave them up but we can get fairly heavy frosts around here so it's best off packed away in the garage.

I has a tarp that you lay down and you have to make sure the ground is free of stones and completely flat. We thought we had last year but we had a shallow and deep end by winter

We are going to put some sand down this year to even it out a bit.

It seems to like the liquid chlorine rather than the granules too. The maintenance is something you get a feel for, ultimately.

I think we paid about $550 for ours, money well spent.

Cheers Vim. $550 sounds like a good deal.

Not cold enough to offer respite from the weather this week!

A lovely 29° today. Too bad it's warmer in the pool than out today.

Currently 28C

Rain today has filled the pool back to the top ...

Should've checked forecast yesterday as I threw an hours worth of water in the pool last night ...

Seem to be losing a bit these days with the lack of rain. I seem to recall last year adding water to the pool only a few times, this year a few times already and we've ONLY just hit Summer! ...

Did piss down a lot last year tho.

Same temp as the rain. It's looking a bit green now, but at least it has filled up a bit.

Have you been losing water recently too?

I seem to recall a bit back in the thread someone goin on about losing water and I was like, yeah only a little! ...

Had the hose in the pool for 1 hr exactly last night and it raised it 2" ...

... only to have mother nature fill it the rest today for free! ...

Yep, put the hose in for a few hours two nights ago to get water into the skimmer.
