It pays 7% and the money is available at call(anytime you want it)
If you need any help feel free to ask but I do work for the Commonwealth Bank, But what I say on here is what I think is best not just Commonwealth Bank details.

HI Gary

Thanks for that info, could I ask you again for some more info when we are a bit nearer to moving. I must admit that we haven't even thought about any banking stuff yet, there's been so much else to do!
Do you know if it is quite simple to maintain a UK bank account and credit card from Oz, as we would probably want to do that for a few months.

How are Vikky and the bump?

Dead easy to keep a UK account going from Aus, just use internet banking. You might find it useful to keep it going for longer - think of holidays to the UK, grandparents giving money as presents, stuff like that.

How old are you Zoe? Its the having kids bit that makes you go grey
I'm sure i didn't have any grey hairs up till 5 years ago!
I'll be 38 in a few weeks time - and i've got the odd grey hair - but thankfully as my hair is quite light they dont necessarily notice....whereas Andy who hasn't got that much hair nowadays anyway has definitely got the old grey distinguished sides on his hair......but he would say that he never had those till he met me!
Eden doesnt start her Easter school hols yet....they've today and Monday off - but then they're in school till the end of next week and then the 2 weeks of fun starts

Have a choc filled weekend guys and girls!

I have a question for the local ladies!
Those that have met me already or have seen any of my pics from our Oz trip would have noticed that i am not slim lady!
I am now starting to worry that i may have trouble buying new clothes etc
when i need them in the Hobart area's.....Has anyone come across shops stocking "nice" larger size clothes? I did notice in Perth that Target had a larger section (but cant say i particularly fancied wearing some of the gear - i'm nearly 38 NOT 58! I quite like clothes etc but dont do designer gear (would rather spend the dosh on other things!) but i dont want to be forced to become dowdy through lack of choice - nor do i want to spend a fortune ordering stuff online or getting people to send me stuff over from the UK
Hopefully i will lose some weight.....but i've never been a thin person and cant see that i ever will be as i do love my grub too much!
So if anyone knows anyone or any places that stock decent stuff in larger sizes PLEASE let me know as i will be very grateful! (otherwise i may insist on having a major spend up here before our containers shipped out!)

Hi Donna, phew that's a relief with the clothes places available! Thanks for that.
I noticed on the store locator part of the BeMe site that they have a branch in Glenorchy and in Hobart itself so at least they'll probably be pretty local to wherever we might end up living.. Some of the stuff looks pretty similar to what we have for larger sizes here in the UK. I use a shop called Evans quite a bit over here, but thankfully some of the larger supermarket chains have upped their sizes in stock...
Good luck with the healthy lifestyle plan after Easter. What are you going to do - up the exercise and cut back?
Personally i've never been a yo-yo dieter or anything as i can never really stick to a diet for long enough to warrant being one! Generally we eat pretty healthily - i just have too big a portion and snack too much (oh and eat the kids leftovers !) Me and Andy eat the same size dinners - but he's a manual worker and burns his off! I did really well losing weight and going swimming/long walks etc prior to us having our medicals and getting the visa's. I did feel so much better for losing the weight - and felt quite fit and healthy - but it all gradually slipped away and by the time we validated our visa's last November i'd put most of what i'd lost back on!
Me and Andy havent bought each other any Easter Eggs this weekend so as to avoid temptation!

Yeah just going to water load, eat more protein and reduce carbs, also have given away the equal pills, I was making my coffee so sweet it was just making me crave more sweets, already noticed an improvement in sugar cravings since doing that. Also when you are getting hunger pangs a glass of water really does make a difference!

DRINK WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers. For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following

Diseases:

Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders, ear nose and throat diseases.

METHOD OF TREATMENT:

1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water
2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minute
3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.
4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours
5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day.
6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life.
The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/reduce main diseases:

1. High Blood Pressure (30 days)
2. Gastric (10 days)
3. Diabetes (30 days)
4. Constipation (10 days)
5. Cancer (180 days)
6. TB (90 days)
7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in the
1st week, and from 2nd week onwards–daily.

This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times.
It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work in our life. Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.
This makes sense.. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals..not cold water.
Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain...
For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.
Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine f aster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.
Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks:

· Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
· You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.
· Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.
· 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.
· Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive...

A cardiologist says if everyone who recievereceiveassage & pass it on to everyone they know, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.
