sad news (steve Irwin)
Hi,
Ive just heard that Steve Irwin has died, apparently he got stung by a sting ray.Its a real shame he was such a nice guy.I really feel for his wife and 2 kids.

I think this should have stayed in lifestyle & culture and not been moved here as Steve Irwin is part of the culture of Aus. Or should I say was.
Must admit like others thought it would be a croc that got him.

There's no link in the Aus lifestyle forum, and no notes to indicate its been moved..

What a horrible shock. I just feel for his wife and kids. His little boy will never remember his relationship with his dad, poor little thing. I must admit I never really imagined him dying with regards to any kind of animal he was so at ease with anything he ever worked with. Why do the good get taken so young I will never understand.
RIP steve, you will be sorely missed.
Hubby wanted to go to the Zoo yesterday as well.
