we have friends come over after school, but it's not the same hoping to buy our own place soon so we will researching before we decide where to live, it's good to hear there are families out there that live in "social streets " hope we find one.

maylands,now there is a typical tricky one...its split in two halves,one half is very nice,very expensive houses full of professional people..

the other side is also full of people of a different professionnot that i would know my mate told me...

how about the public transportation in Perth.
Anything bad or good about huntindale. cos I have to travel to CBD and will be using public transport, is it a good choice.

Go where you can afford and is good for you to get out and about.

I know of Perth suburbs that are known to have a influx of expats, mainly South African and Poms, and guess what the RE agents inflate the prices as they assume all expats are cashed up, and with the FHOG, this give you approximately $40k towards a new home.

Far too many people struggling due to this Housing obsession that has struck people over the past few years.

The local primary school is 2 minutes walk down the hill so there are always lots of kids around. We live very close to the beach and the estuary in Port Bouvard ,Wannanup my 13 year old sometimes walks down and meets his surfer mates or to do a bit of fishing. There are lots of open spaces around so he will sometimes go off for a walk or for a ride on his own but he always ends up bumping into friends.
