Re: The Migrants Guide to Emigrating and Settling in Australia
Its funny to read this thread back now isnt it- well we have been here for 8 months now and we have seen 2 spiders in that time. One was in a rental property that we were viewing- we opened a wardrobe door and one crawled out- not sure who was more suprised the spider or us !!! It was quite a large huntsman but didnt bother me that much at the time ( although didnt end up renting the house!!!)
the second one was at Xmas on Bruny Island- i opened the oven door and one ( that had been dead for quite some time) fell out !!! That freaked me out more for some reason and I couldnt even go near it even though it posed no threat ( what with it being dead !!) At the moment we live in the city so we dont see any spiders but am bracing myself for facing them more when we start renovating our new house !!! :scared: Nat xx |
