As I have said before: 20 million of us live here and the number who die from spider bites would be sooo tiny compared to car accidents or the like. Just check your footwear before you put it on in the morning if living in NSW ;) And as for the Qsld fish eater; lay an extra plate for dinner and don't forget to offer him some chips too or else he might think you're scamming him ;) :D its not the bites that would frighten me - it just fear alone!!!! i dont think i could take it!!! :scared: |

20 million people don't die from spider bites each year, no one since the 1950's. Your probably more likely to be killed by a Koala bear, their razor sharp claws can inflict a nasty injury, but your not affraid of them beacause them look cute. |

Easter road toll at 26 Twenty-six people died on the nation's roads over the long weekend. That is more than twice the amount of fatal car crashes last Easter. http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/com...5E2862,00.html Hopes fade for swimmer Mark Buttler 29mar05 HOPES are fading for a Melbourne man missing after a swimming accident off Sydney's Bondi Beach. The 25-year-old Indian national had been swimming with a friend between flags at the world famous beach when they were dumped by a wave on Saturday. The man's companion was pulled to safety by lifesavers but he noticed about 15 minutes later that his Melbourne mate was missing. Water police officers and a helicopter team searched the area again yesterday but found nothing. |
Re: The Migrants Guide to Emigrating and Settling in Australia
No one was killed by spiders or snakes and the shark attack was not fatal. The waves on saturday were enourmous.
