Anyone else with a 9 ish year old girl going??

Hi Mary
Yes we went to the last one. It was great altho I admit I was a little nervous beforehand as I wan't sure what to expect. We met some really nice people and we are looking forward to going again. Will look forward to meeting you. Whereabouts in Oz are you moving to and when? Clare

Thanks

We're hoping to go to Perth in October, but it depends on whether we sell the house or rent (and getting the visa of course!).
I think i may have set myself an impossible deadline and that's why i keep getting so stressed - I really want to get my 16 year old (as she will be in May) into school before they break up for the summer holidays - I've been in contact with a few schools and they've all said that although she only needs to stay in school for one year (next year), if she wants to she can move back a year and complete the last 2 years, which is important if she wants to go on to Uni.
Obviously if the visa doesn't come through in time then we're going nowhere, but if it does, then it's gonna be the house that's the issue and when my problems will really start

That's a good idea, can anyone point us in the direction of the nearest travelodge? Also the postcode of the Harvester. Can't confirm at this point whether we will be there for def but I like to be organised if we can make it. Cheers.

Mary Please stop worrying but thanks for asking about how you will know, it's what i've been thinking but there ain't no way htat i'm wearing a hat with corks all the way round it Not without my hubby driving and me having a few vino's first anyway!!). We will be fine and we will have a nice time. Just for the record my daughter will hang out with older and younger children and she has far far more confidence than i (i'll let her come in first and then i'll follow behind i think
)
