We had a 2nd viewing yesterday. Ist viewing was by mum who was looking for properties for her son who is coming back to the UK from South Africa. Initially the agent said that we hadn't made her shortlist but she must have had a change of heart as she was back again yesterday with the son who was on a flying visit to Europe. Hubby showed them round and said it all seemed to go well - they've even worked out that they can fit their baby grand piano in our sitting room!! Still not counting my chickens though - don't know how many others he was looking at.....

Accepted an offer two and a half weeks ago - house had only been on the market 1 week, and was offered over the asking price!!
HOWEVER - should have known it was too good to be true - 2 1/2 weeks on and no further contact, despite having rung the Estate Agents this week to ask what is going on. Bl**dy buyers - bet they didn't check their mortgage.

Well, I am now using desperate measures, I have just dropped the red envelope into the nearby river. So now I am going to tidy the house and wait for all the viewers to come and fight over my property !!!

We've just spotted the last viewer sitting in the layby across the road, obviously come back for another look and probably seeing how busy the road is

we have got another viewing on monday - i think that makes about 18 now
a friend came round earlier - he bought 6 months ago and has approached his bank for a further advance in order to convert his loft. upshot is that the bank valued his house at 5 grand less than when he bought

good luck for Monday, we've had about 15 plus now ive lost count, most of them should apply for tv work cause we've had some cracking actors so far, so fed up of bloody time waster's messing us about.

Finally after 20 weeks we completed on the sale of the house yesterday. A nice little cheque arrived at MIL's this morning. We had been on the market for 11 months and that was the first offer.
Good luck with the house selling.
