The plots either side of ours have pads down now, we are waiting for shire approval which should be in the next 2 weeks (hopefully). Thats all we are waiting for now we have signed off final plans and paid our deposit so once we get a Building Licence we've been told it'll be around 3 weeks until pad down.
Will be interesting to keep an eye on everyones builds on here

We are moving into a new rental next week so have been out buying all our house furniture last weekend, spent an absolute fortune and hoping it all fits in the rental as we have bought based on the house plans
Got an amazing leather sofa from Domain should have been $7500 but had 30% off and with the voucher cost us $250 including delivery

Went up on the weekend, looks like site works have been done on yours clayts
Few in motion now...
We've had conditional approval given from LWP, they just need to see the colours and sustainability annexures which will I'm guessing will be sent after prestart. We amended our site plan for the 6m driveway and sent it thru now so work can begin on the wall amendment. Suraini who does the approvals for these is going on leave soon so if you haven't given the go ahead get onto it sooner rather than later.
Still undecided on tiles, just can't find a floor tile at the moment. Once we have that sorted we can book prestart. Good thing at the moment is we should be able to get a meeting within a week or two.

I emailed Suraini a few weeks ago about my driveway and have still not heard back so will have to chase her up. Looking at 7125 you can ee the problem more clearly in regards to the access of the garage. Looks like it would be very difficult to park on the left side unless u drive a smart car!! lol
Good luck with finding a nice floor tile...i think the problem is there are just too many to choose from. I ordered some tiles for my alfresco areas from Magic Tiles in Cannington. Really good range and the pricing was excellent i thought. Good job i have the warehouse to store all this stuff or the misses would kill me!! lol

Couldn't put it better myself. Once we saw 7125 go up, and saw how far the retaining wall obstructs the driveway, going to the 6m opening was really the only option. I bet a fair few people will see this and reassess their plans.

Yeah i think they will. Doesn't look nearly as bad on the plans compared to seeing it in person. Still can't believe they made this mistake when planning!!
