US have increased the standard price of miles to US$0.035 (+ 7.5% tax) from US$0.0275 each

I'm glad I've already got 100,000 in the bank then! And I think the 7.5% tax only applies to Canadian residents, although there is certainly a local tax addition in there somewhere.

I'm afraid not - the poor Canadians have to pay 7.5% + additional taxes; everyone has to pay 7.5%.

I was wondering whether the people smugglers offer a 'back haul' route from Christmas Island to Indonesia?

Does it have to be the US Airways program that you join to make this work? Or will any Star Alliance scheme work?

Wow, 3 weeks and no one has replied!
So I may need to pop home to the UK in the next 2 weeks. I have enough for a 120k business return.
Before I fire up the apps listed in this thread what are the chances of getting an outward flight on the 25th Nov leaving london on the 3rd December?
Not hopeful at such short notice but Qantas was almost 3k so might as well try and use these miles!!
