They forgot about Melbourne which is where we want to go, but its good seeing other places as well. Was particularly impressed with Adalaide which was one of the only places I had never seen before, and it looked really nice.

Not very realistic me thinks.

Exactly our thoughts!!! Doesnt make sense does it. They should not be looking at that area when they havent got any money to go out with and need a 100% mortgage. Mad!!! J and j

We're off to Perth with no house to sell and no money either!

Hope it all works out for you monkeypeaches at least you made that decision yourself probably with a lot of research

The family on the show didn't choose Perth it was picked for them. The programme makers did not put much thought into that then.

It does seem a bit lame, and I'm used to daytime TV (on mat. leave)!

I'm sure we'll be fine - we can't be any worse off than we are in London (good jobs but no chance of buying a house) and at least we have family in Perth!

Oh my good God, is any one else watching this morning's? I've not seen it for a few days as I've been working ( ?!) but this morning's is really annoying me. The woman's brother died, and she is going on and on about it in floods of tears - poor woman - but is there any need at all to include it in a prog about moving to Australia?!

(On the plus side, they did insert a teeny section about how to prepare for renting once you arrive)

just to let you know I did not go on about my brother as this is the way it has been "edited" they wanted to get across the fact that you could be loosing someone at which point you may decide to stay, all I wanted to get across to anyone in my situation was you cant change what is going to happen you have to do what is right for you. You obviously have not been in my situation!

hi Jones family

i did see todays show and the quote u made 'you can't stop what's going to happen but u have to think about your own family' was perfect, i am not close to my family but husband is, my mom is terminally ill at the moment and my view is i can't stop what's going to happen either but i can make a differance 4 my kids, at the end of the day my family is my kids and i can hopefully make their future better in oz,

anyway how r the plans going?

I really enjoyed todays show.......i think my mum will find it hard though as you did say you would have never have left her if she had been still alive. It's very hard and right now i feel the most selfish person in the world for wanting this life for my family. But when you said about you cannot wait for everyone to die brought me back to reality.

I cired with you today hun

When are you going then ? will hubby get the job at the same carpet fitters?

Hi
I have missed the first week and couple of days this week.
Have they had any nurses in the families featured?
Like to see what they say about work etc.
