hi
i have taped the shows every day to watch with OH and i still havent seen a Melbourne one! did i miss it
As thats where we hopefully want to go to. They have shown a few from Perth now, what about Melbourne!!!,and todays show, i agree was a little unfair on the family, poor things. still i hope they go for it.

I found todays show confusing.
Why give a family with no equity money, lower waged job who say they cannot afford to live or buy a house in this country why give them the second most expensive place in Australia to look around and show them what they cant afford.
At first I thought the families actually chose where they went but according to the presenter she said to them "you dont know where we have picked for you or where you are going " then when she said Perth I actually found myself shouting at the TV "well how they going to afford that then"
Not very realistic me thinks.

Hope it all works out for you monkeypeaches at least you made that decision yourself probably with a lot of research
The family on the show didn't choose Perth it was picked for them. The programme makers did not put much thought into that then.

I'm sure we'll be fine - we can't be any worse off than we are in London (good jobs but no chance of buying a house) and at least we have family in Perth!

Oh my good God, is any one else watching this morning's? I've not seen it for a few days as I've been working (
?!) but this morning's is really annoying me. The woman's brother died, and she is going on and on about it in floods of tears - poor woman - but is there any need at all to include it in a prog about moving to Australia?!
(On the plus side, they did insert a teeny section about how to prepare for renting once you arrive)

Thought your show this morning was very honest Sarah, shows the whole range of emotions we all go through as part of the big move.

just to let you know I did not go on about my brother as this is the way it has been "edited" they wanted to get across the fact that you could be loosing someone at which point you may decide to stay, all I wanted to get across to anyone in my situation was you cant change what is going to happen you have to do what is right for you. You obviously have not been in my situation!

hi Jones family
i did see todays show and the quote u made 'you can't stop what's going to happen but u have to think about your own family' was perfect, i am not close to my family but husband is, my mom is terminally ill at the moment and my view is i can't stop what's going to happen either but i can make a differance 4 my kids, at the end of the day my family is my kids and i can hopefully make their future better in oz,
anyway how r the plans going?

Hi
I have missed the first week and couple of days this week.
Have they had any nurses in the families featured?
Like to see what they say about work etc.

i watched the episode about the butcher and got a very gay vibe from the man he would be working for. he kept on saying how handsome he was.
