Hi

Does just across the border count? We live in the Republic, but hubby works in Derry. Just starting out on the looong road to adventure and unpredictability.
Yes, house prices are definitely down a lot. If they even hold til this time next year, that'd be almost good news. If they drop further, well, we'll rent a garage in Sydney

hi nevsy

phoned ea on monday morning but buyer got there first, he apologized and hopes we don't think their messing us about as they still really want the house. he doesn't blame us if we put house up again which we have done, but he thinks his money will be through in a month and if no one else has put an offer in he still wants it, so fingers crossed

gonna have a week in turkey and forget about houses & visas
hopefully when i come back there might be good news

Caroline, hope you have a great time in Turkey, hopefully you'll have a house sale or a visa waiting when you get bck - either would be nice

My friend is going to Turkey tomorrow too, probably on the same flight as yourself - single girl with 3wild kids running about!!!

Anyway, have a good one,

Siobhan,

I cant believe its only 2 weeks until you go? Are you excited? I feel like I'm living someone else's life!!! It's all very strange. Living with my MIL is fine, she has dinner ready for me coming home from work - only thing I had to ask her was - not to do my washing, I dont want her lifting my underwear etc We leave 2 weeks after you, can't believe it's come around so quickly. Where are you flying from?

Paul finishes work this Friday and I finish the next week. Cora and I are going to Ballyconnell, Co Cavan this weekend with a friend from work and her daughter to stay in her mums apartment, looking forward to that (plenty of wine!!!!!!!!!).

Please stay in touch after we get there, maybe we will be able to meet up at some point.

Enjoy the last couple of weeks in NI - hope the weather stays nice for our remaining time here

Lynn xx
