Yep it's true, don't come to Hallett Cove. We don't need to put any american cop series on the telly, we just look out of the window and watch the high speed chases and the gang fights. The windows are always being put through, which gives us a nice breeze. I've had my car bullett proofed and armour plated too.

Seriously, come on. I have heard of the odd party getting a bit out of hand and the graffiti is bad and also our alley way keeps getting full of dog crap (which I think is the worst offence) but that's about it.
God, I come from the West Midlands and when I was at secondary school (many moons ago) the schools used to meet up regularly and fight each other. That wouldn't have even made the local paper.
Been here 2 and a bit years now and wouldn't live anywhere else in Adelaide.
Anyway we are full now, so keep up the scaremongering.

Adelaide has more problems than any other Australian city. Take your head out of the sands because the houses are bigger that crap areas in the UK and some have swimming pools it means nothing. STOLEN car was used in a wild, two-hour crime rampage - including an abduction bid and several violent robberies - across the suburbs overnight.

During a period of just over two hours there were seven aggravated robberies, one attempted aggravated robbery and one aggravated robbery together with an attempted adbuction.

Police believe the crimes are linked due to witnesses describing a similar car - a white Magna sedan - involved in all incidents. And it comes just a day after police launched a phone-in to help clamp down on street gangs and bikies.

The spree began at 9.50pm on South Road, Hindmarsh, when a woman had her IPod stolen and an attempt was made to drag her into the offenders' car, described as a white Magna sedan.

The offenders released her and fled when a passer-by yelled out.

The second occurred at about 10.10pm at traffic lights at the intersection of Marion and Sturt roads, when the occupants of a white Magna sedan punched the window of another car in an apparent attempt to steal the car.

Twenty minutes later at 10.33pm near the Noarlunga Hospital on Goldsmith Drive, one of the occupants of a white Magna sedan forced a taxi driver from his cab by punching him and then stealing the taxi.

The taxi was driven around the block and returned with a small amount of money missing.

The fourth incident occurred at about 10.40pm at a bus stop on Beach Rd, Christies Beach, when two girls where approached by the occupants of a Mitsubishi sedan and assaulted. The offenders stole their mobile phones and a shoulder bag.

This was followed by a similar style robbery at about 11.10pm at the Esplanade, Brighton, when three women had their handbags stolen by two men who were travelling in a white Magna sedan.

Ten minutes later at about 11.20pm, a woman waiting on Wilton Ave, Somerton Park, had her handbag stolen by three men who fled in a white Magna sedan.

Again, ten minutes later at about 11.42pm on Anzac Highway, Kurralta Park, a woman was approached by three men from possibly the same car and she had her handbag stolen.

The crime series continued when a man was assaulted and his car stolen just before midnight on Torrens Road, Croydon Park.

The last reported incident was at about 12.10am when two woman were assaulted and robbed of their purses at an ATM on Prospect Road.

They told police that the offenders were travelling in a white Magna sedan.

The Magna was found about 8.30am burnt-out at Grand Junction Rd, Wingfield.
